Rule 4. Tall Items ...

By tall items we mean anything that is higher than your worktop, i.e.

1. Fridge Freezer (Built in, Freestanding, or American Cooler etc)
2. Eye Level Appliance (Oven, Microwave, Coffee Machine etc)
3. Larder
4. Broom Cupboard
5. 3/4 (Shoulder) Appliance Housing (Fridge, Oven, Microwave etc)

It is generally a good idea to group all tall items and place them at the end of a "run" - to maximise the worksurface space.

If a number of tall items are grouped together, position the oven next to the adjacent worktop - you do not want to carry hot dishes any further than you have to.
